Students work, discuss & experiment in groups. They were nervous at first because this JADEC style student-centered learning method was new to them.

We suggested students to read the text aloud by turns. All students should experiment and have experience of each activity. When all students feel confident, the whole group can move onto the next task. Very quickly students became relaxed and enjoyed this method of learning.

Learning to Draw Blood

Students carefully practice drawing blood using rubber tubing filled with colored water. Although the materials are artificial, they treat it like it is a human blood vessel. They insert the needle carefully and draw the blood slowly. Learning to Draw Blood

Learning to Measure Blood Pressure

Students work together to understand the relationship between blood pressure and heartbeat. They use simulated materials by which they can see the pulse and movement of blood. This provide great interest to the students. Learning to Measure Blood Pressure

Learning Bed-making

At first students inspect a ready prepared bed. The target is that students can collect all bed-making goods, fold them correctly and make beds in a time and energy efficient manner. Learning Bed-making
